LEGACY ADVENTURE MENTOR PROGRAM
Our Legacy Adventure Mentor program is a year long program that helps guide disadvantaged youth in low socioeconomic communities.
Our program provides mentors for youth in Utah to encourage, listen, and guide them to success. Each of our mentors go through extensive background checks and multiple training sessions to ensure that they are equipped to engage our students. We want to be one of many influences to guide our inner-city youth to becoming successful, motivated, disciplined, creative, compassionate, and faith-filled leaders in their communities. |
SUMMER LEADERSHIP CAMP
Our summer leadership camp teaches our campers daily structure, how to live in excellence, team building, and everyday life skills. Our goal is to speak life to our youth and provide them opportunities to grow spiritually, emotionally, and to become successful individuals in their daily lives.
Our camp sessions focus on multiple team building activities such as hiking, fishing, and leadership development . The campers will also have the opportunity to visit multiple colleges and universities during our sessions. The campers will not only set foot on a college campus, but also experience what it is like to be a college student. After each individual has completed eight full years of our legacy adventure mentor program and annual summer leadership camps, we will provide a partial two or four year scholarship to attend a tertiary education institution to each individual. The scholarship is the stepping stone for the individual to continue their education post high school. |
SERVICE DAYS
Our Service Days happen in conjunction with our Adventure Legacy Mentor Program as a way to show disadvantaged youth the difference they can make and value they can bring to their communities.
Our program partners with other organizations throughout West Valley to provide opportunities for our youth to serve their community. Projects our boys participated in include: Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes, free hot cocoa and pictures with Santa, painting a mural at the local Animal Shelter, packing resources for Vial of Life, and decorating recipe cards to donate food to children in need. We want to empower our youth to be change makers, making their communities a better place. We want them to know the value of serving their neighbors. |
PARENT EDUCATION CLASSES
We believe that parental involvement is a crucial part of a child’s emotional and physical growth. Our goal is to provide parents with the tools to become proactive and involved parents among the hustle and bustle of life. We will provide free English Second Language and General Education Development classes for parents needing our services. These classes will be once a week and free of charge.
We will also provide multiple events throughout the year that stem from college preparation, financial/ budgeting courses, parental and child counseling, food and nutrition. We will also provide multiple opportunities for families to help serve their communities together through our annual service days. |
