Often, our mentors remain with us for years. Once then begin with the program, they love to see the way our youth grow year-over-year. The longer they remain volunteers in the program, the more they discover their individual giftings and stregths while working with our youth. For example, we have recently had a mentor come to us with a passion for tutoring High School students, which also happens to be a major need with have in our organization. Last year we piloted a zoom tutoring program three times a week. It is workign well, and the boys who take advantage of it do find it helpful. We love when togther with a trusted mentor, we impliment new aspects to our programming. This particular volunteer has been with us for three years now, in the midst of attending college and starting a new family. This is just one story of our amazing and inovative team of volunteers!
